Vitamin C: Supercharged Brightening & Smoothing

Many beauty products feature L-Ascorbic Acid, which require water-based formulas. This makes it difficult for the serums to successfully penetrate beyond the skin’s protective water barrier. Most water-soluble forms of Vitamin C are also highly acidic, which can disrupt a healthy skin barrier and cause major irritation. Ascorbic Acid is known for being notoriously unstable and prone to oxidation. This is especially true when packaging exposes the formula to light and air. Unlike L-Ascorbic Acid, our Vitamin C (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate) is extremely stable and lipid/fat soluble, meaning it has a greater affinity for skin because its fatty acid component helps aid penetration. It is able to successfully penetrate the epidermis and move to the layer underneath called the dermis. It’s in the dermis that collagen, a protein that gives skin its youthful firmness and ability to resist wrinkles, is made. We have paired our Vitamin C with Vitamin E in this powerful serum. Vitamin E is no slouch as a skin care ingredient itself, but when paired with Vitamin C, the combination is more effective in preventing photodamage than either vitamin alone. Both work by negating free radical damage, but each combats different types of UV damage. By adding Vitamin C and E to our serum we are giving your skin double the antioxidant ammunition to fight damage from free radicals and more UV damage than vitamin C by itself!

It balances oil production, providing just enough moisture to keep the skin clear and healthy. Our Squalane, which is derived from Olive Oil, has powerful anti-aging properties, as well as anti-inflammatory benefits, to help with skin conditions such as acne and eczema. Directions

Gently roll onto eye area. Pat with finger until absorbed. Use morning and evening. Keep out of eyes.
